FRIENDS OF MESSING SCHOOL !
Did you know that when your child joins Messing School you automatically become a Friend !
But don’t worry – it’s not painful !
The Friends work together because we love our school and we want the best for our children. We raise funds and support all kinds of projects, both big and small, and we organise fun activities for the children to take part in too.
We are a very fortunate group of Friends. For a small school we have done some big things ! We have raised money to buy new staging for the school hall and we paid for the adventure playground too. But the little stuff counts just as much – paying for coaches for trips out and buying new books for the library.
The Friends meet roughly once every half term, although a bit more if there is something special to organise like the Christmas Fayre, and new help and new ideas are always welcome ! You don’t even have to attend all (or any !) of the meetings to help – if you can spare the time to lend a hand at an event that is just as valuable to us.
So please consider adding your support – our children are worth it !
